I'm very confused here. Sona wasn't adopted BECAUSE she was mute. How does it make sense if you don't make her a mute to begin with?

I think there are so many reasons for no adoption, like strange events happened with etwahl.

The only thing strange the etwahl is said to do in her lore is find it's way back when sold. Those events are describe as strange and bizarre but it's only said to do them in that situation.
By the way I should say I'm just nit picking and I'm a bit of a "purist" here. I don't have a problem with your comic here and I'm not trying to insult it. I'm sure you have something interesting planned here.
