I had to come back and look at this a few times, it's that compelling. Not to mention unsettling. There's something almost nightmarish in it, and yet the woman's face is so calm... I find myself thinking about it at odd moments during the day, trying to tease out the story behind it.

I like the almost serene resignation in her face. Yes, bombs will fall, unexpectedly, on calm beaches, dropped by penguins (who we didn't know could fly).
But perhaps we will survive, nevertheless.
