ich hab da nichts extra spezielles im sinn, denn deine schnitzarbeit finde ich schon sehr schön so ! anders wüsste ich es gar nicht besser !
ich hatte schon einmal einen hammer aus metall, den habe ich mir bei einem befreundeten goldschmied gemacht. aber ich hab ihn verlohren.
aber holz ist eine sehr gutes, schönes, angenehmes.
ich würde mich sehr freuen, einen solchen schutz zu tragen !

It's the original colour of the wood, walnut wood is quite dark and the wood from the roots even more - and it shows more grain
I don't use any finishings on my pendants, I once tried to, but the oil was always worn down. But I'm using another technique, if you want to know, you'll get a PM

Nope, no staining. I covered the surface with finish and polished it. These colour variations are so diverse because I took this part from the root wood, where the texture or better figure of the wood is varied more (I hope my English is understandable^^)
