Seriously it was a typical odd couple. the angel and a demon. hahaha... Sooo uninspired at all.

Anywho, here's the little story between the two characters.

They were never supposed to be together yet here they are. At first perhaps it was a matter of trying to dominate one or the other but it never worked through. Her light and purity outshone his darkness and his surrounding void of nothing wasn't overpowered by holiness alone.

Ironically, He thought, they were both opposites, compliments of each other.

It unnerved him more.

She was a pretty thing too. Soft and skin as milk and hair soft as silk, ripe for breeding yet he'd done nothing but tease her beyond reason until he wished the images of them together in his mind were real instead of him awake in the night and comforting himself in cold showers or a bottle of liquor. The other women started to feel almost nothing to him except her.

Yet still, she's as pure while he sat there contemplating. Not only that but the sense to protect this woman and to keep her all to himself. It was maddening, to have her as a posession but yet she listened to him and took care of him that no one else had.

Perhaps it was what these humans felt: Love. So he gave her the ring. She was his. All his.

Was it real? She wondered while she stared at the dark ring on her finger. A betrothal ring that symbolized that she was his now.

He was bold, irrational, and quite blunt whenever it came to things. They would argue most of the time till one of them was close to striking one another with either their powers of be or physical stance.

It was logical...afterall, she was an Angel and he was a Devil. She lived in the sky while he dwelled beneith the earth. Its in their nature to feud.

No one, in her life...had ever treated her like he did. No matter what they did he seemed to make whatever they were doing or whatever he said always sounded like an innuendo, and his mock grin seeing her embarrassed gave him a dark delight she nearly wanted to punch him between the eyes.

Yet...she thought quitetly to herself, she saw his loneliness through the narrow slits of his eyes, they were no different than her own. His heart beated like hers and the cuts and damage he got from merely protecting her, his blood was the same as hers. She was captivated that she only wished then, to comfort him and to help him drive that madness and lonliness away from him away.

She was in love with him...and her face reddened just a little while she leaned against him.

"Do you regret it?" his deep voice interrupted her thoughts.

She settled her hand on his shoulder while the other reached his side, her eyes half open and she kissed the back of his head.

"Never."
