I really had a funky+colorful concept in mind to go with Izaya. But at that time, I'm not sure of what it is yet. So after days of procrastinating, I looked up for some references of retro+funky artwork/graphics. Based from what I've seen (and have liked), this is what I came up with. This is my first time in taking up 3D typography and I'm quite happy with what I've done. I know it's not that 3D-ish looking but it's the best that I can do. The text wasn't made in a 3D text application. All was done in photoshop. I then added some subtle pattern and texture in my main BG.Here's the original scan from where I vectored Izaya.
Well, I guess that's about it. Enjoy!

well, of all the great artists here in dA, of course, it's quite hard to be recognized right away----but i'm striving and trying my best to become better and greater than ever before.
