perpetual motion

set on the ocean
endless cycle
on and on
blink your eyes

close my mouth
speaks of pain
attempts at happiness
are made in vain

it's a sign
all wound up
in this life of mine
i can see
but i can't focus
it ends like this
as it always
healed by the sands
of endless lands
to hurt me

an answer
i demand
time speeds up
sun heats up
air gets hotter
drenched in water

sands are shifted
