Thanks! It's a bit difficult to explain without showing.... Basically, you do a row where you sc one, chain 2, skip the next 2 sc, and then sc in the third sc, then chain 2, skip the next 2 sc, sc in the third sc..... etc across the row. You're basically making a round of large holes. Then in the next round, you sc in the sc stitches you did, but put three double crochet stitches underneath the holes made with the chain stitches.
