*comes crawling in with half a torso left* Ehe... hey guys......this is what I've spent my whole week's free time working on... XD It kicked my ass... BUT IT WAS A HELL OF A LOT OF FUN TO COLOR! I got it... HAHA, a whole week ago... Wow. Well, I wanted to do my best job ever on this one, and I think I accomplished that. Haha, this wins the "Mix's Best Coloring at Age Fifteen" award, no? And... I'm sorry if it looks really dark, it looks off on this comp but it looked fine on my laptop
so ugh. That could ruin this whole thing.ANYWAY.... Why did I want to do my best job on this? Well, all four of the artists that are in this have influenced me, subconsciously of course, in the way I view/produce art. Whether it was a physical influence (like Hotarabaku, who basically was the one who got me into soft-shading (subconsciously, of course)) or mentally (like BoGilliam, who showed that you need to spend time on your art, and put your spirit into it), all four have done a lot...

Colored in GIMP, of course-What is this Photoshop you people speak of? I've only used it once, and the results weren't pretty. Well, it wasn't TOO bad, but that was almost a year ago. *coughs* ANYWAY, I used GIMP. So no "Oh, of course it's good, he used Photoshop"-It's not the tool, it's the wielder that makes it good.
Time spent... HOURS. UPON HOURS. *collapses* I think I stayed up till 2:30am EVERY night this week... I prolly did horrible on the test today, but IT WAS WORTH IT. At least, I think so.
(edit) I put the original one in, as opposed to the fixed one. All that changes is the buildings in the background get darker.

Hmm, I got into soft shading from a horrible attempt at cell shading xD;;;; But yeh, I've thought about doing a bit harder stuff...
