My personal protest to gossip. In my opinion, it is one of the worst ways you can waste your time. In a third world that claims to be based around information, gossip is surely more destructive than any other plague.Related content

This makes a strong statement in a clear and emotive way. It's almost like a poster concept for an attitudinal change campaign.
I really detest gossip. It's damaging and shallow. People must know when they're doing it, but rationalize instead as being for the victim's own good or for the good of those who will listen. Really it's a cheap bid for attention, popularity or done to take down a perceived rival. Your picture shows not how it feels to be the target of gossip, but rather how it feels to be around people who are talking trash. You just want them to shut up, eh?

Oh, and I like the view of the face on the t-shirt. It adds interest to the composition on the second look. Also the models face and the t-shirt face made me think "two-faced", as in talking behind someone's back. Have you thought of making this part of a series?

Wow that's exactly what I was thinking. This one isn't about the person who is being gossiped about, but rather the one who hears the gossip.

I have thought about making another picture from the perspective of the one who is actually being gossiped about. Don't have any plans for making a large series yet, but I'll defitly try a few more and see what works.

Actually being gossiped about is horrible. The silence when you enter a room can be full of negativity. There are other social ills you can illustrate as well. There are so many ways that people dismiss and diminish others.:/ Anyhow I look forward to whatever you come up with next.
