Well, there are a few different tutorials and sites and stuff around. I've been picking people's brains when I come across something new, so a uni course isn't the only way to go. I wish there were courses around here for me to take. :3

Is your store doing well over there? There doesn't seem to be that much of a market for hand bound books here in holland... (Maybe because I don't want to over-advertise cause I don't have that much time for it...)

Ah, not really. I stopped selling them for a while because, well, in Germany you have to fill out insanely many papers and have to manage quite a lot of things for everything you do. And I don't dare to go on selling them on the internet (or at least not on big platforms) without having done so. There are quite a lot of people who think it's fun to report people.
And same as you, I'm also lacking time.

Hihi, that's why I keep it at my parents place (where I come to bind books - once every looooong while). I only have room for my study projects in my student room
I know about the paperwork! I went to do it, cause I got real uneasy about the illegal-ness of it all, but they actually recommended for me not to do it. So now I sell using second hand auction sites. No taxes there...

I'm from a hole near Amsterdam. But now living and studying in Rotterdam. You should go to Berlin sometime, it's beautiful, full of history but still very much unfinished (so there's so much yet that's not been spoiled with 'generalism'...) and then, go to some rave or party.

I must admit that the paper is not peeeerfect as a sketchbook, you can't really use water colours on it : <. But pencils, fineliners and the like are perfectly okay, I use it was a sketchbook as well, after all.

Wie lange brauchst du in etwa um so ein Buch herzustellen?

Also diese vier hab ich alle gleichzeitig in zwei Tagen hergestellt. Am ersten Tag das Papier, den Karton und die Pappe gekauft, zugeschnitten, gefalzt, gebunden und geleimt. Das hat schon von morgens bis spΓ€t nachts gedauert, mit einigen Pausen dazwischen. Aber ich hatte auch einen weiten Busweg nach Boesner und in die Stadt.
Am zweiten Tag war ich im Copyshop und hab sie zuschneiden lassen und hab die Buchdeckel gemacht und bezogen und dann alles zusammengefΓΌgt, das hat nicht ganz so lang gedauert wie das Zeug am ersten Tag, aber ich saΓ trotzdem von morgens bis abends dran o_o". Also kann man hochgerechnet sagen pro Buch ungefΓ€hr einen halben Tag....?
