Finished this like last week, but no time to upload...
I may get cat flu*sniff* Marble, a kitten that I helped to take care of, caught a cold. She sneezed and sprayed her mucus at my face. Ugh...
Loki from Loki Ragnarok mythical detective. Found this in my old books collection and drew and extended it out from the manga's cover page.
I have not bought any manga for a long time~~ Only watch anime most of the time... Even my friends say I have too little contact with manga...

Yes, but it's always good to strike a balance, soft brings out a more soothing and natural feel, while contrast gives the picture a powerful look, I think

I really like this picture! The shading was pretty smooth and I also like the expression on this face and his eyes.
But just a suggestion, maybe you should also shade the clothing folds to make them stand out and look more realistic. Anyway, great job!

Haha this was just practicing copying pictures, Its a kind of training as well. I can't really shade as freely using mechanical pencils, they look rough everytime I try, probably I used too much strength. So I didn't shade that much for this picture. Plus lazy lazyXP

Next time, you might want to use some napkins or tissue papers to smudge it to make the shading smoother, but I usually go for shading a smaller image since I'm also quite rough when I shade with mechanical pencils.
(Or maybe its because I'm also lazy, thats why I shade a smaller picture...

Too lazy, I use my thumbXD And according to some of the tutorials and books I read, tissues shouldn't be used to smudge ur pictures but should be placed under your hand to prevent the sweat from hands to make unnecessary smudges on ur drawing^^
