Lol what a title. You can blame the lack of art on Wolfenstein II. Sooooo much fun. Can't find any of Max's toys though.

This was a shading test. For months now I've been hating how I shaded hair. It's time-consuming, frustrating, and with how much work I put into it the end result always came out not to my liking. I was starting to hate my highlights as well. So with the help of a couple tutorials I was motivated to modify my technique.

I GREATLY prefer this style. 100%. This comes close to what I want my ideal hair shading style to be. It's influenced by SpittfireArt's older hair coloring style which has always been my end goal when I started to take drawing seriously. I still need some practice on this new method but I really like it so far. It requires a lot more layers but it's worth it.
