I really like the lighting effects in this picture. When I first looked at it, they just seemed so natural that I didn't even notice them, so when they clicked in my head I was really entertained.

uhhmmm, it depends... on whether or not the computer is making me ill XD For this one, I sketched it out on paper, scanned, inked in Open Canvas 1.1 and colored in Photoshop. Often I do all my work on the computer, doing the sketching in Open Canvas as well.

oh i see, thats really cool. hopefully in a few months time i'll have more time for working on practicing, i'd like to start doing commissions, but im still having problems with Proportions as always, i'll get that worked out with time though

This is absolutely brilliant. Right now for this you're inspiring me to draw in a whole new differet way, I love the humanistic features both characters have, and you have the shading just perfect.
Cassandra's fur color was a good choice for the picture, making her more like a rare breed, and Aries is just a relaxed male like all male lions usually are. I bet alot that you'll one day become famous for your excellent work, keep it up! ^_____^

Thats a very pleasant poolside scene. I like the girl lions pretty hair. The sleepy Scar-esk lion is not gonna get a tan no matter how hard he tries XD Neither his she for that matter.
