Hand painted shoes. No tracing or sketching involved.I made custom Mumbo Pad decals inspired from the Banjo Tooie game. On the inner sides of the shoes you'll see honeycombs and part of a tree representing Click Clock Wood from Banjo Kazooie.
Small miniature Banjo necklaces hang from the backs of the shoes.
And of course, the famous line of Mumbo, "Eekum Bokum" is featured on the toe caps of the shoes.

Dang these are so good. I love everything about them. The attention to detail is amazing. These are shoes I would wear around the house in the fall. I love that you included Banjo's necklace on the shoes and Mumbo's famous phrase. Nice work.

That's always something scary for me too.
Believe it or not, these hold up very well! Water doesn't damage them, the cords for Banjo's necklaces are thermally bonded and waterproof so they really hold their own, and I protected the shoe with two different types of coating that repels water, dirt and stains and you can wash the shoes with water and a cloth if needed. As for the paint, it's waterproof, completely flexible which means no cracking, and does not fade over time.
To put so much work into it and have it fall apart so soon would break my heart so I make sure it doesn't happen.
