Description Another one of the fan-made Robot Master to Net Navi ideas I had. After commissioning a friend, BlueIke to help me with a few short Megaman Battle Network comics involving my own ideas for a Battle Network sequel, involving some new Net Navis based on bosses from Megaman Fully Charged and Megaman X and the Archie Megaman, I figured I'd draw some of them myself. I had this one sketched a while ago, but various other things made me forget to finish. Higure-san also was a bit of inspiration here too. Though unlike my last couple, I had in mind that this Navi here would actually start out on the good guy's side and not start out as an enemy boss. I am kinda seeing why most female Robot Master/Navis look so human, it's hard to design good female ones that aren't. Now makes me think better of Robot Masters like Blasto Woman and Cho, who really do good in that department of female Robot Master/Navi but less humanoid.

This is a Robot Master from the Megaman Archie Comics, but as a Battle Network Net Navi, QuakeWoman.EXE. I doubt I am the first to draw a rendition of what Quake Woman would be like as a Net Navi, but what the heck, I really liked her in those comics. Though I really am not a fan of Drill Weapons, you may have seen that I REALLY love Hair Drills! Especially the really cute Hair Drills! Hence why both QuakeWoman.EXE here, and her NetOp, Tempo, have them (literally for the Net Navi). Not nearly as poofy as Luna Platz's super cute drills, but almost as cute! Don't you all love Poofy Drills?

Kinda like I did with ChemistryMan.EXE, I used the two names for the same Robot Master, and used the one that has Man or Woman in it for the Navi, and the one that doesn't for the Operator. I also used Lalinde as her last name to relate to the original Quake Woman's creator, which also would hold true in this. She was specifically designed to be used by her daughter. Also relating to the original Archie Comics version of Quake Woman, QuakeWoman.EXE here is a notably stoic Net Navi, but her Operator is much more childish and happy one. Her Navi Emblem shows a Drill being plunged into the ground.

I had this idea in mind of in the Battle Network game she'd appear in, Lan Hikari and Megaman would end up taking a "Rookie" of sorts under their wing. Tempo and Quake Woman here would be the said rookie. After how many times those two had averted a terrible catastrophe, Tempo looks to them as inspirational and wants to be like them too. This would lead to some later moments of them fighting together, Lan trying to make sure she does well and feeling bad when she gets into danger, and trying to appear as a great mentor to her. And NO, Tempo would not be a love interest! I don't ship characters like that!

Also, I hope you like this BlueIke , and I hope it doesn't interfere with anything you may have also had planned for QuakeWoman.EXE either.

Now for the specs on her. Tempo is the girl coming from the screen behind her

--------------------

QuakeWoman.EXE is a Navi who was designed by the SciLab researcher, Dr Lalinde, as a very early Navi. At the time, QuakeWoman.EXE was viewed by Lalinde as her daughter as she was having trouble getting pregnant at the time and thought a Net Navi would fulfill what she was wanting. When that was changed and she later did give birth to a human daughter, she figured QuakeWoman.EXE would be best suited as her Navi partner. Lalinde would name her daughter, Tempo, and when she was older, assign QuakeWoman.EXE to be Tempo's Navi partner. It was also much better for her, since QuakeWoman.EXE was notably less expressive, unlike Tempo.

QuakeWoman.EXE was designed initially during the early days of Navi Technology, and is as a result is a very stoic Navi, rarely showing expression and being serious. This somewhat contrasts from her operator, Tempo, whom is much more innocent and expressive and tackling schoolwork and help around the house with glee. While Tempo is more goofy and hyperactive and pleasant of a girl and more willing to help others out, QuakeWoman.EXE often times helps keep her in line and on track. In addition, there are times when Tempo helps QuakeWoman.EXE loosen up some over time.

After QuakeWoman.EXE being given to her daughter, Tempo, Dr Lalinde would later replace her own Navi with the more newly created VesperWoman.EXE. VesperWoman.EXE often times playfully teases and tries to play around with QuakeWoman.EXE, but QuakeWoman.EXE is rarely ever amused by her.

Tempo usually styles her hair in cute twin Drills, making smaller locks-like drills. She usually also wears a hairpin with QuakeWoman.EXE's Navi Emblem on it, similar to Lan with his Megaman Navi Emblem headband. To keep QuakeWoman.EXE more ready and at her side, Tempo wears her PET around her neck, hanging by a cord around it like a necklace, and jacks in QuakeWoman.EXE using a retractable cord that comes out of the bottom of the PET.

Tempo Lalinde at first starts working towards becoming a geologist, but later on she gets to meet with some of the official Net Battlers whom have fought back various threats to the Cyber World, including Lan Hikari, Chaud, and Raika. Finding them inspirational, she then aspires to hopefully join their ranks. Although she's a bit of a rookie, not nearly having enough experience to take on these high-stakes missions, she does have a good deal of experience with Virus Busting, her Navi is a notably potent one, and she's willing to learn from a pro. As such, Tempo looks to Lan and Megaman as like mentor figures to her, hoping to emulate them and become just as much of a hero as they are, and enjoying them because of how they are more encouraging of this. On the contrary though, she does not get along well with the more serious Chaud and Raika, whom dismiss her as "not having what it takes" and say she should back off and leave it to the professionals before either she or her Navi get themselves hurt out there.

----------

QuakeWoman.EXE is a unique design compared to most other Break-Type Navis. Rather than most Break-Type Navis that focus on overwhelming power and defense (I.E. GutsMan.EXE, KnightMan.EXE, MetalMan.EXE). QuakeWoman.EXE focuses more on mobility and speed while still having notable attack power. Her drill lets her move through the ground rather quickly, is better at getting around, and she moves more quickly too, but she has seriously low defense and endurance to resist attacks, unlike the others. A couple of her moves can even crack or break panels too.
The vast majority of her built-in attacks unfortunately have low range, making her more vulnerable to attacks from afar when she does not have Battle Chips provided. The only other Break-Type Navi to have this sort of agility-focused design was DrillMan.EXE. As such, it is believed that DrillMan.EXE might have been an attempt to reverse-engineer her, or even outperform her.

Tempo and QuakeWoman.EXE are Cross Fusion compatible, and she would later obtain a Synchro Chip from her mother, hoping to better follow in the footsteps of the other heroes to the Cyber World, but their Synchro Rating is about moderate. Regardless, Tempo doesn't use Cross Fusion too often, afraid of the risk of her sustaining real injury from it if she is not careful. Usually QuakeWoman.EXE has to tell her to do it and Tempo doesn't usually think so at first. You can see what their Cross Fused look is like below.

Tempo often tries to sort of mitigate QuakeWoman.EXE's shortcomings with Battle Chips such as Barrier100, and good long-ranged ones like Spreader or HiCannon. Tempo also enjoys using chips that can have synergies with some of QuakeWoman's abilities to crack and break panels too, such as CrackShot, Geddon, Snake, Salamander, OldWood, and Fountain.

QuakeWoman.EXE is a Break-Type Net Navi.

Attacks/Abilities
• Custom +1: QuakeWoman.EXE has an initial Custom Screen capacity of 6 chips instead of 5.
• Break Chip Bonus: QuakeWoman.EXE gains 30 damage to all Break-Type Chips.
• Quake Drill: QuakeWoman.EXE thrusts her large drill on her arm out for a melee attack. The attack has a reach of a LongSword, only the 2 panels ahead of her, but it does great damage and penetrates guards too. Similar to the Drill Arm chip.
• Seismic Blast: QuakeWoman.EXE drills into the ground and causes a tremor that does very high damage to all enemies that are on any panels adjacent to her, be it in front, back, left, right, or diagonal. It has very short range though, even more than her Quake Drill due to the enemies having to be at point blank range for it to hit them, but the damage is huge and can even hit enemies from behind. She can also use this to disarm traps through the vibrations (much like she did in the Archie Megaman). In addition, this attack will not hit panels with holes in them since it is a ground tremor, and a Navi equipped with Air Shoes will not be damaged either due to them hovering above the ground.
• Eruptor: QuakeWoman.EXE drills into the ground and causes an explosive eruption out of the ground on the panel that is exactly 3 squares ahead of her current position. The attack will also break a hole in the panel it hits. Can be a bit difficult to hit enemies at times due to it has to be that exact panel and there is a brief pause when she uses it, but the way it breaks open holes is useful, and it also penetrates guards. Will not work at all on panels with holes in them.
• Mole Ambush: More of a mobility move. QuakeWoman.EXE drills underground, then pops up directly behind an enemy and then uses a chip of some sort from behind that she has loaded, usually a close-range chip like WideSword. Good for surprise attacks, but will not work if the enemy is on the back column.

I also had in mind that QuakeWoman.EXE could also be played as in Liberation Missions. When played as in Liberation Missions, QuakeWoman.EXE could use Order points to use her Seismic Blast ability. When used there, her ground tremor would liberate all dark panels that are to the left, right, above, below, and diagonal from her current location, also disarming all traps and collecting items from them. Best used when she is surrounded by Dark Chips. Similar to SearchMan.EXE's Panel Search ability, except instead of a line, hits all chips surrounding her. It references how the original Quake Woman was able to use earthquakes caused by her drill to disarm traps in the original comic.

Also I figured there would also be a Quake Soul or Quake Cross for Megaman to obtain from her later on. Could perhaps work into the whole looking to Megaman as a Mentor thing.

Obtainable Battle Chips
(Since QuakeWoman.EXE starts on the heroes's side and you'd most likely not have reason to fight her, I figured you'd obtain her chip from a potential cutscene or from a Mystery Data pack in her Operator's Computer).
• QuakeWoman:
Element: Break
Rarity: ***
Chip Codes: Q
Damage: 80
Memory: 37MB
Description: QuakeWoman appears and first uses her Seismic Burst attack to hit all enemies in the panels that are adjacent to the current position, then follows up with an attack from her Quake Drill, hitting enemies 2 panels ahead of her. It will only do the most damage to a single enemy if the enemy is directly in front of you.

• QuakeWoman V2:
Element: Break
Rarity: ****
Chip Codes: Q
Damage: 100
Memory: 58MB
Description: QuakeWoman appears and first uses her Seismic Burst attack to hit all enemies in the panels that are adjacent to the current position, then follows up with an attack from her Quake Drill, hitting enemies 2 panels ahead of her. It will only do the most damage to a single enemy if the enemy is directly in front of you.

• QuakeWoman V3:
Element: Break
Rarity: *****
Chip Codes: Q
Damage: 120
Memory: 86MB
Description: QuakeWoman appears and first uses her Seismic Burst attack to hit all enemies in the panels that are adjacent to the current position, then follows up with an attack from her Quake Drill, hitting enemies 2 panels ahead of her. It will only do the most damage to a single enemy if the enemy is directly in front of you.

Also made a Stats Card for her too.

Have you ever seen Quake Woman in the Archie Megaman comics?

Also Terra first appeared in Megaman V for the Game Boy.

Yeah, those ones are sadly lesser known.
