Okay, This is actually a concept art of an arc I've made totally in honor of Stephen King. It's based on his short story "Trucks" and at the same time, his so-called moron movie "Maximum Overdrive", (which I enjoy by the way)but the arc is completely influenced by other things.What happened here was this:
A part of the company L.P. works in made a new navigation A.I. system named "OverDrive". Such chips are inplanted into the main engines of vehicles (soon, other appliences undergoing experimentations, such as electric meat cutters, MP3s and even A computer)
Soon, L.P. and yamiko are asked to witness the "magic and wonder" of the machines. which later, bugged by a single computer error and thus turning every "infected" machines into homicidal creations.
The only way to stop them, is to destroy a heavily guarded main computer out in the mountainous regions of Canada.
Bad eh? that's nothing! They're getting smarter by the minute, too!
Campiness is what i was trying to achieve here and the funny thing about this arc is probably the music. As a homage, I used the AC/DC song "Who made who" in a driving sequence, plus "Highway To Hell" during a chase scene. Other than that, I also used "Nowhere to Run" by KIZZ and "Hot in the City" by Billy Idol during other chase scenes
call me crazy, nuts or plain picky. This is, probably, one of my favorite arcs due to my fascination to cars.

2) Have any firearms been instiled with OverDrive

1). no it's a truck. I forgot what model, but it's a truck. There is a bus on their left (right in our vision)
2). when the main computer got corrupted, it installed overdrive on some firearms as well. so yeah, it did.

idiot trise to shoot out tires, overdrive causes the gun stops firing idiot looks down the barrel (thats why I'm calling him "idiot") overdrive cause the gun to fire (in a simuler to the way the m-60 platform in Maxium Overdrive fired) gun blows idiots brains out

Maximum Overdrive is a campy end of the world film by Stephen King (his first directed) It concerns a UFO controlling every machine in the world turning them into homicidal vehicles and murderous tools.

no. Yamiko is pure thought. although her design was inspired by a certain deviant's umbrella girl, the rest were mine and she even chances through out time.
Yeah, but the movie was underrated since it was so campy. well, the chip is corrupted so it's gonna be a blood fest if a mech got it.

The movie didn't go as far as king Imagined it. So it became a total fluke.
I saw The Shining and it was terrifying, so insanely confusing!

Actually no. The victims and witnesses of the Hiroshima bombing had various side-effects from the bomb or the hydrogen itself. Some (like L.P.'s ancestors) developed a hereditary mutation. Which means it may had skipped a few generations and had ended up in L.P. some undergoes serious changes, Like Godzilla and a few humans (the Akemi twins, who will become Sanda and Gaira, soon) while others, the mutations remains hidden until it triggered (Like Erika Shiragami's case)

yes, From a Buick 8 is a story by King about a car that teleports beings from another dimension into our world and "victims" from our world into theirs.

probably listen to them first and then if I like them, I'll imagine some scenes that might go well along. Like that song "Hot in the City", it's actually played when a helicopter's chasin' them and slicing the roof of their car.
