hmmm Cardverse is just Hetalia character designs that the artist made up, where the characters are part of a "suite" from a deck of cards, either hearts, spades, clubs, or diamonds. England is parts of the spades, for example. I guess it could be considered a Hetalia AU, but originally it just comes from some costume desgins that Himaruya drew.

The pattern was a separate layer that I "masked" under the coat layer. (Sorry, that's not a very good explanation, is it? xD If you want me to try to be more specific let me know!)
