Description
When Hugh was younger, he was afflicted with a disease-like curse that spread across his body, putting him in great pain and causing his flesh to decay and wither, almost as though it was rotting. The curse eventually subsided, but it left his body horribly scarred, with the affected areas completely devoid of fur and his skin looking a horrible colour of blackish reds and purples. He was able to survive simply because he clung to his life so dearly, and the ordeal gave him an innate fear of timidly rotting away and dying without cause. He values his own life over anything else, and he often has inner conflicts asking himself wether he is selfish for doing so. Hugh has fully accepted the inevitability of death, and is deeply afraid of pathetically dying helpless and alone, while he would gladly accept death if it meant helping those he loves, and making an affect on the world.
