Description Just for the heck of it, I decided to go through my old DA gallery and find a piece to redraw--I remember being really proud of this one, which I made at the ripe old age of thirteen. At the time, I had only been drawing people for a few months (literally only drew wolves and cats until junior high lmao), so it's not that bad, all things considered. May do more of these in the future, as it's fun to see how my style has evolved.Β

The lines in the old drawing are messy and don't fit with the style, the lines in the new drawing are still a little rough, but fit in perfectly with the style and look clean.Β

Usually with these "before and after" posts, the artworks improve by a long shot, but the art style also changes a lot.
It's nice to see that you've managed to improve your art without compromising the artstyle much. It's really good!

Just practice a lot: when I'm stuck, I often trace the works of artists I admire to practice. I did that ALL the time back in junior high and high school.Β
