Thoughts on this piece:

I had an idea where the Batter would be dragging a blood-covered bat behind him with a trail of blood. However, as I was messing around with the background (which was a jagged top half of gray before), it happened that I only colored part of him white. And when I filled in the background with a flat, red color, his legs and hand were not filled in and became red as well.
I liked how much red there was, and instead of coloring him in with white all the way, I left it largely unchanged. And of course, with the (originally) red line of blood and blood drips, I colored them in as white (thus making it look as if the area was turning white, as opposed to a trail of red blood).
