Aww, poor Finwe. It is so sad what happended to him, his first wife and then all the quarrel between his children. I am sure they would have wanted their children to be more like the picture that was painted. Not that kids never quarrel but Feanor's constant inner unrest, the dark tongues that spoke to him... not good.
