I really like that style of drawing, I try my best to learn some good techniques too. If I have to give You some kind of advice, it would be consistency in shading. What do I mean by that? The same thickness, direction and density of Your lines will make a harmonic picture (unless You aim for chaos). To create depth, create more lines that are perpendicular to the already existing ones.
Consider shading hair too next time. Go with the flow and experiment ^^ Also, try training Your lines to make them straight

Over all, it's not a bad start. After some time You'll get the hang of it

Here's a great video that inspired me to get better with that style. I hope it will help You too ^^

Thank you so much for the advice and tips my dear friend, much appreciated! I always adored the cross hatching shading technique, the time has come to learn. I am also expecting you to upload something like this some day (if you haven't already xD.

Nice sketch XD  And I see you went with a classic way of shading, commonly used in comics if I recall.     I actually prefer more realistic shading when it comes to my art, I also like the smoothness of it too, but its so much fun trying out different styles, perhaps I should give this a try some day. XD
