He looks much more carefree on this pic. Absolutely beautiful armor - whats more - it looks useful - it's rare to see.

I like the armour but I especially like his face, there's something about it.

yeah, valkyrie profile
a playstation game from ENIX
you have similar 'angular' armor style
i can't find it on the internet but i guess this could explain a bit [link]

i see.. yea, now i also think they're similar in some case)
but in general they have a different mood, cause of overall proportions of the body and limbs

Absolutely stunning work, as always! I like the general design of the armor and I wish I knew how you did this stuff! Excellent work!

Thank you for the advice!
I just made this rather quick and rough cause i only needed the image of how will armor sit on him and the face probably) not the thing to make some global rendering)
but thank you!

he hasnt got that madman look he has on other pictures, but you can still recognize him.
It makes me want to know more about the story behind the characters, gj

another nice armor design. i'm curious though... i've noticed a lot of your armor is very angular? is there a particular reason for the lack of any "softer"/rounder designs, or do you like the look more, or is the entire aesthetic kind of angular?

Hellstern In reply to broken-art-attack [2009-04-06 17:47:35 +0000 UTC]
))) no) i just made all "angular" armor for the imperial style armor cause the opposite fraction will have more soft and leather clothes.
so it will make a nice contrast between the fractions.

very nice. i like when design is influenced by conscious choices displayed in a somewhat subtle manner that, even if it goes unnoticed by the audience, they'll still "feel" a difference even if they don't pinpoint it. although, i understand that the contrast between metal and leather should be easy to puck up on.
thanks for the info.
