This is a clever concept.
The two lit areas give the image a ghostly feel, and look like figures wearing shrouds. As well as the inventive imagery created by the lighting, the blending of textures also add to this dark mood.
The manuscript also benefits from its aged appearance, and while the actual music might not be very scary, you have done well to introduce a deeper dimension. This is an excellent piece of Abstract Art, and the photo-manipulation work is impressive.
