this isn't in the vector section because it isn't 100% vector
i used the Gaussian Blur filter here and there after using the pen tool
so that makes it about 98% vector
oh well
This piece was inspired by the band The Birthday Massacre and also their vocalist Chibi
i know the little heart with wings does NOT look like a firefly at all
but really i didn't want it to look like one
the reason why i named it Firefly is because i tend to associate fire with love alot
so it's like a lovefly i guess
but anyways

This is mostly a personal escaping from the "norm" for me.
When i usually make a heart deviation it is either macabre and creepy, or they are cute and clean
in this deviation i tried to do both
everything is sloppy, the shadow adds that creepy feel, but the colors, the stars and the soft background also add that clean touch.

and also there is gaussian blur on the background but it is slightly faded
