Interesting concept! I like how the colors behind him are sharp and clearly defined, but when inside of him, they're mixed together. It makes me think of the contrast between the "outside world" and the emotions inside of a person/how they view the world.Β

"A self portrait without a face." Kind of a strange concept don't you think? Usually self portraits involve the face. However it's art so anything is possible right? Well since I do not know you I have to ask does this accurately resemble you? If someone who knew you looked at this would they be able to tell it was you? Does the color scheme and the way the background is structured give an insight into your personality and who you are? You canΒ create a self portrait without a face but it should still be you in some abstract way. Aside from that make sure your proportions are correct also as right now when I look at the shoulders they seem to be two different widths but that could just be the colors clashing and messing with my eyes. Just remember when creating a piece like this the biggest question it needs to answer is: "Is this me?"
