Taken on a phototrip I went to this weekendwith 17 other photographers
It was a lot of fun
I will probably upload some more pics from the trip when I will have time to look through them all

As ever, beautiful atmosphere, it's superbly evocative. If only I could be the creator of such awesome, dark shots...
The textures are just lovely here, don't you think? The thick, menacing clouds offset by the steam, the dark rock covered in rough snow... the slight blue tint makes it all the colder, too.
I'd say this was more a landscape shot than a portrait though - the scenery is the main focus of the shot, the person is just putting it into perspective.

Great stuff as always H. Anyone I'd know in that shot? Man... i gotta make it over there some day. We were thinking about it this coming summer, but we ended up having to stay US-bound... oh well... maybe some other time in my life :-D

Amazing photo Heida, great to see it in this perspective, my grandparents have a summer cottage directly on the other side of the lake, when you're inside you can see nesjavellir smoke
