Old picture which I finally finished a couple of days ago. Some jungle trees in a swamp with a couple of weird buildings build on them. It seems like there is no one there, but who has turned on all the lights?

Nice composition; perfect colours; overall a very pretty picture. I think I would have like it better, however, if the ground underneath the fog had been more swampy rather than grassy.

Thanks for the comment! You're probably right about the ground underneath. I got really lazy when it was the time to draw the background, so I went for the simplest option and used filter-generated grass covered with fog. It seems like ages since I painted this. I should make a new PhotoShop scenery, but the one I've been working on doesn't seem to progress at all.

I've always loved this piece, it so reminds me of Channelwood from MYST, perhaps the most beautiful game scenery ever. Though I almost prefer this "warmer" look ^^'
