Brand new C172 owned by one of my local flight schools, fully glass cockpit, G1000 equipped, so new there's not even 100 hours on the engine. Very modern, very high tech and a very pleasant to fly! I went flying a little under 3 weeks ago with one of my friends from university as we are studying the same degree and graduate diploma. Right now both of us are busy building our flight hours so we're getting flights in when we can. We split the cost of the aircraft hire and flew up and down the coast for a nice scenic nav. Up until this point, I'd never flown full glass, only analog so it was quite the learning curve!

I apologise I've been so quiet on here - all my focus has been going into studying for my instrument rating exam, which I sit on the 1st of February. Not only that, I've also been helping to organise my dad's birthday party, as he'll be 60.
