That scene plays a few years ago in my Story^^ I always wanted to draw it*-*

Riku was just left by Kaoru, because he went back to Silver (Kaoru told Riku that he wants the divorce to be able to marry Silver again). Riku was so sad, because he lost his one true love, that he was tired of existing... He hurt himself, tried to remove the tattoos he did for Kaoru (one on his chest and one on his back) by scraping it off his body with a knife... he just wanted to go into the Final Death finally.... but as Nagare found Riku in his chimney-room, weakened from the massive blood loss, he brought him to Asion. She cured his wounds and looked for him, so he doesn't hurt himself anymore..... But then she had the Idea, that Riku should call Soji (Silvers ex, now that Kaoru went back to SIlver, and Kaorus twin brother), because Soji surely is sad and alone too.
And so Riku did. Soji came to Asion, and was shocked as he saw how Riku was suffering from the divorce. Soji, of course, was down too. But not so much as Riku was. He took Riku back home, and as Soji asked Riku, why he wants to throw everything away because of Kaoru, Riku broke out in tears and said "Because my existance is nothing worth without him..."
Soji was shocked as he saw, that Riku was crying, because Riku nearly never cries. He sighed, grabbed Riku's arm and just pulled him into his arms. "Riku..... just hold on tight.... I'll comfort you...."

The relationship between those two started out of their broken hearts. But Riku never could forget about Kaoru, no matter how hard Soji tried to show him his love.
Only as Kaoru came back to Riku, after Riku killed himself a few years later and became a Fade, Riku was finally happy again, together with Kaoru and Soji^^

Riku often feltsorry for Soji. He never wanted Soji to feel just like a compromise, because Kaoru is gone... But it was hard for Riku to hide his feelings for Kaoru in front of Soji^^"
