I’m not going to lie, this part scared me. Worse, it suffocated me! Not just because of Malachite’s creepy look on Steven but also because I have an irrational fear of the depths of the ocean. In Steven’s place I would’ve wet my pants! XD

I'm really glad you faced down your fears of the ocean to draw this - it came out so amazingly well, and kudos for drawing through the fear! I'm not hydrophobic, but that episode hit on a few REALLY PERSONAL fears of my own, and I was left in a daze for three days. It's a powerful episode. That's a powerful moment. And your rendition really captures all the creepiness and tension there is to feel!

The one I own doesn't have the link page anymore because I downloaded it years ago, but you can easily find good source if you look for a file that's been acquired by many people and confirmed that it's good to be used.

You recaptured the moment precisely as it was. Every single detail is where it should be and I give you my sincerest praise as it is just incredibly mind blowing how accurate this is compared to the actual screen shot. It's mirrored right down to the perfect degree and not only that but also more such as the subliminal dark tone which is conveyed deeply into your description.

It's a beautiful piece but I so hope Lapis comes back and doesn't end up like so many gem monsters. She has suffered enough. Isn't it about time someone saved her? Aren't all gems worth saving?

Thank you. I'm worried about all of them in general because knowing how things went in the last episode Malachite is gaining control over Jasper and Lapis. But I have to admit I'm more concerned about the Crystal Gems, they've been dealing with so much for so long it's so sad they can't have a moment of peace.

Yeah. And, given the Malachite issue along with the machinations of Peridot, the Crystal Gems could use a miracle right now. Just hope that Sardonyx, the character hinted to debut for July's Steven Bomb 3, is a friend that will aid them in victory.
