I blame my editor for this. Not long ago, when I delivered the chapters featuring the above characters’ initial confront, he turned to me with a smile “are these two girls gay? Because their fight seems to be foreplay”. I thought he was joking until I reread what I did but with that idea in mind. ‘8T

Oh right, sorry I keep forgetting these characters aren't well known yet, my bad! The girl with the first sign on her back and with the ponytail is Juliana Schneider, the other one with the headband is Magda Stidolph. The bottom panel dorks, the boy giving the thumbs up is André Kersey, the middle girl is Joana Mubarak and the prankster girl with glasses is Sara Yamamoto.

Ah! That's alright. And well, it's not in my plans unfortunately to make them gay for each other, but people can portray them as such if they want. I do not oppose that. ;D As a matter of fact, one of the plans I always had for this comic was to leave the cast's sexuality/relationship preferences out in the open so the reader can make their choices in shipping. Sure there will be official pairings, but the main characters will have a open relationship with almost everyone they interact with until almost the end of the story.

As for me, I'm straight, and I prefer straight shippings, but if someone else likes to ship the same sex together, I'm okay with it.

They are the main cast from a comic I've been working on for the past years, I post some art of them once in a while here. But since I can't show much from the comic itself it's natural that it confuses people about what's going on.

Oh that would take years to finish. No, it's not me, it's my editor who doesn't want me to post actual pages online before we can publish it in English. The first 6 chapters are out in Portuguese in magazines and journals, but since the market here is....awful (this is why I do commissions), I've been discussing with him the possibility of starting to release in English. It's still in limbo but we want to release the first volume in English if we see that's worth it.
So yeah, while I can't really show the story itself for now I'll be uploading these doodles and illustrations to introduce the characters a little more to the public.
