Description A sketch I did in school and decided to scan and color. Lemme just gather the notes I had but erased while coloring:

"Kuther'Ves is a variation created through hundreds of years of stasis within the depths of Dakkarsis(The Eternal Abyss). Through immense pressure and energy, its body-encased the the fragments of stone from the torn world, are refined into a near-indestructible shell. Refined for such a duration, that 70% of its mass is comprised of raw obsidian and granite. 25% (mainly the right hand blade) has refined to pure Arcanite(demonstone), with the remaining 5% being remnants of its original body."

The Kuther'Ves measure up to 7'4, and weight around the amount of an armored truck.

A massive vertical strike from its right arm is capable of taking down a line of enemy troops, and can mow down a small regiment within minutes.

Due to their virtually indestructible armored shell, the Kuther'Ves are immune to conventional weaponry.

Despite their immense killing power and incredibly high rate of defense, the Kuther'ves are the "one man tanks" of Abyssium's forces, and and suffer from low mobility and scarce amounts its archetype.

Nonetheless, The Kuther'Ves are that of legendary reputation. Since very few have actually ever been defeated, fears of certain death are felt by enemy troops detecting the upcoming enemy.

I also had a few little sketches in there displaying height comparisons, weapon swings, ect. but i wanted to remove them for coloring purposes. :3

Part of the hand between shoulder and elbow doesn't seam as durable as you described it. His generally looks quite agile, on the contrary to the text. As for the artwork itself, no complainants.

yeah, I know, I partly blame my style for that, but I can explain it: the original muscle mass around the arms and the legs(or the whole body for that matter) is lost during the refinement, leaving only the raw bone to be fused and compressed with the rock it was encased in. This strengthens the bones to a near indestructible state. This allows it to support its own weight with minimal body mass.

tl;dr
The legs and arms are just super-re-enforced bones, allowing it to support its already heavy body. (instead of having a super bulky exterior, it has a small re-enforced body)

Yes, but you sacrificed the viewing psychology. There are no common animals (for example) that are trim and skinny, but extremely durable. Size compensates speed but gains more muscle/fat that is sort of a natural armor. Of course the artist is always free to do as he pleases, but it would be more plausible for the audience to see something they can make a reference to real world. Or so I think
