Description
Here is the High poly model I sculpted up for Sona's visual update in League of Legends! I'm very lucky to be contributing to such a worldwide phenomenon! We were trying something new without the trebleclefs on her dress, but I think in the end we decided to go back to having that iconic feature there
It was a lot of fun working with on this visual update! I cant wait to work with him again soon!
I used ZBrush and rendered her in Keyshot!

A baked down sculpt is transferred to the texture in league? I always assumed their textures/details were hand-painted in photoshop. Its such a low-poly game I cant imagine any zbrush details transferring over properly.Β

She's getting a visual upgrade? That's so cool! I'm not really a Sona-player, but it's always nice when a champ gets upgraded visually ^^

If you want something that's simple, signifies something musical without taking too much attention, I'd suggest using a whole note icon, not too many people may get it, but it's simple and if you put it on the bust area of her dress or on the hips it would probably be a good alternative design solution, at least from my standpoint.

Really nice, however you should consider changing face a little bit - it's too evil, serious, harsh. Sona seems young and kind. Gj
