Nice, I love all of the bright colors! Β I want to eventually get into digital art. So I need to save up for a mouse or tablet because I'm just stuck with pen and paper since it's hard to draw using a trackpad

I don't necessarily agree with meowjestic with the mouse, but I do reckon you should keep practicing first with paper and pencil. The thing with mouse is, it doesn't have pen pressure, which normally, you can achieve it even with pencil. This also makes drawing with mouse very time consuming and limiting because you can really just achieve cell-shade effects, unless you're super skilled.
Either way, meowjestic 's point does stand, that you should practice more first and see if you really want to invest in digital painting. I know quite some people who just bought it for fun, and never use the tablets after a few uses. You can also go to bigger stores, because they usually have some demo products for you to try out. Test them out and see if you like how tablets work.

I honestly didn't even know about drawing tablets until I started looking at deviantart and saw people keep saying that's what they used. Β Thank you for your opinion on the matter! Β I have one question? Β What did you start drawing with?

I started with pencil and paper of course, then I moved on to watercolor acrylic and oil painting, then I got into digital painting~

Well, I was assuming they could use the mouse to trace over their traditional art to digitalize it, I mean, they'd get a little practice with stabilized lines with their mouse. At least, that was what I did so that my lines were straighter! I wasn't very skilled at digital art until I did that and stuff like that.

I know you were probably directing this to Haychel but I'd say to start with a mouse because they're cheaper and if you can learn how to use those well enough, then you should spend your money on a tablet!

Mice are also easier to replace, and I wouldn't spend big bucks on a tablet unless you know for a fact you want one. If you're still questioning it like this, a mouse may be a better idea. And once you get good with that, then maybe get a tablet!
