This is the finished colored version of 's Family Ties piece. Please everyone should check out his work its amazing. It was a lot of fun to color someone elses piece. This was done with Prismacolor Markers and some photoshop work. I had posted a work in progress piece of this, that has more info on the piece as well [link]I completely ran through this, was having fun playing with it. I was thinking of doing the background different colors and styles then went with the red, but as my crimson red marker started to die, I had an idea, make it as though blood was bleeding into the background, which is what became the concept for the background.

Oh wow... With you adding color to Midnighter's work just really makes it pop. Especially the crimson sky.
I knew when i saw this in thumbnail view that this looked somewhat fimalar.. it wasn't until i read thre description that you gave that it suddenly clicked....

This is really good. I love Batgirl's skin tone. Nice. The markers made this thing look sexy. If you want to color any more of my stuff, please do. In fact, it's highly encouraged.
Might want to use a brush in photoshop for the blood in the background.

Oh boy I worked and worked on the skin tone. Really took me a while and realized she need more of a cream look and lighter in areas. Wow thank you, I am so glad. For a while I wasn't sure then once I finished it I was really liking it more and then got in photoshop and really did some nice additions. Hehehe your awesome buddy, okay then I will. It was a lot of fun coloring it!

I have to say, you really did a fine job with this piece. From a distance, it looks like a painting.
