Description The Societe de transport de Montreal (STM) has a number of buses with interesting fleet numbers. Here's one of them. It's 13-037, a 1993 Nova Bus Classic, or The Leet (1337) Bus, as I like to call it. Hopefully, there are some of you out there that know what Leet is, because most people I know don't. I certainly do, I can tell you that much.

Hawker5ive In reply to SoVeileGedanken583 [2008-09-12 21:30:35 +0000 UTC]

Leet is an online language where numbers replace certain letters. For example, if you wanted to write the word Leet in Leetspeak, it would be written as 1337. The fact that this bus' fleet number is 13-037 is a idrect reference to Leet. I hope that helps you.

Perhaps we should end this so that other people can comment on this photo. We wouldn't want to hog all of the comment space now, would we ?

Some of ours are as well. The older ones, like this one - it's from 1993 - are much better, and are built to last .

We have one left from 1989, and it's still in active service. There's a picture of it in my gallery.

How could you not know Leet? Nice bus, by the way.

Hawker5ive In reply to Domriso [2008-08-14 01:38:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's what I say. Lots of people know Leet, but apparently, some of my friends are completely clueless about it. Oh, and thanks for the comments. Much appreciated .

Domriso In reply to Hawker5ive [2008-08-14 01:45:27 +0000 UTC]

Certainly. It's nice to see someone who appreciates Leet. The majority of the people I know who know of it hate it. It saddens me.

Hawker5ive In reply to Domriso [2008-08-14 01:49:38 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, same here. Leet is interesting, so when I saw this bus sitting outside a Metro (subway) station, the first thought that came into my mind was "OMG! Leet bus!" I happened to have my camera on me, so I snapped a picture of it because it was just so cool.

Yep. My rule for photography - if it looks cool, take a picture or two of it. And that's exactly what I did, because this bus is just so awesome. All hail the Leet Bus !
