► Basic Past:
His father came from a branch in the family that specialized in removing inhuman beings that used magic
against humans. His mother what such a being. Hailing from a group of witches that flocked south when
hunters torched their ancestors in their villages. When city grew taller and technology more advanced.
They thought those days were behind them. They were, of course, wrong. And on the day of the 'burning'.
His mother seemingly lost her entire family as they were put to the stake. Leaving her alone. Having secured
her safety by seducing and marrying the very man who put her people to an end. Giving him a son. Then
naming him“Coven”. But his father was unsure weather it was to remember her heritage or to mock his.
Regardless he was then called “The son of the witch who did not burn.”

Despite the uproar their marriage caused, Coven hardly knew either of his parents. His father died when he
was three. And his mother vanished mysteriously shortly after that. Rumors told that she'd fled for her life
now that his father was not their to protect her. A darker tale insisted that she was put to the stake the
night his father passed. Either way, he was abandoned. Parentless. And left to the wisdom of the Clan elders.
Who forced more seals to be tattoos on his body then any other exorcist in his clan. An poor attempt to
seal any of his mothers magic she might have given him. Febel. His magic came all the same. And with his
a “Crow eye” to remind everyone what he was and would always be. A half-blood.

► Fun Facts:

- Partly deaf, but mostly in his left. Most days he'll wearing a hearing aid in that one. It helps
him compose music among other useful things. But even someone like him has his pride. If he's not using
the hearing aid he tends to get by fine regardless. Learning to be fair good at reading lip. As well as letting
Mari's sign things for him. Although he rather her just mouth it to him instead. It isnt that hes embarrassed.
He just doesn't like talking about it. And normally wont if he can help fooling others into thinking he can hear
perfectly. Sometimes putting headphones with no music in that ear as he walks. So people will know which
one to talks towards instinctively.

- He has a “Crow Eye”, which appeared when he turned ten. And only after his first magical
serge. A “Crow eye” is a discolor in one eye that happens when a human and crescent witch create a half-ling.
The eye holds little magical purpose other then to expose the result of an unnatural coupling. Or a symbol of
the pollution of a pure witch blood line. Its like wearing a sign on your face. That never goes away. Some say
that a crow eye can be used an an ingredient for rare magic. If one dares to prey it from a halfing who is still using it.

- Coven's tattoos are all specifically placed to suppress and control magic. Unfortunately it doesn't
hold up much as a door between his witch and human blood. Mostly resulting in a few accident. He passes
it off as being “danger prone”. But honestly feels pretty terrible for any trouble it might cause those around
him. Despite the surge of power, hes not good at anything “witchy”. Having neglected that side of him for so long.

- Despite his sort comings, Coven does do exorcist work. Avoiding witches, despite it being his
branches specialty. This leads him to get into trouble with some of his other cousins. Since avoiding witches
for other assignments tends to have him step on other branches territory. Which wouldn't be a problem if the
other branches weren't so territorial. Traveling between the main house in east Asia and his sub house in London.
