Description
Much of the center of Monster Island consists of savannahs reminiscent of those in mainland Africa. The air is hot, trees are sparse and the grasses can grow taller than a man. One of the top predators is the Brutornis, a bulky pseudo-terror bird from Skull Island growing over 7 ft in height. This still from drone footage shows a very angry mother as she defends her clutch of eggs from invading Ingen raptors. Despite the numerical disadvantage the giant avian is no slouch by any means. A single kick or strike from its peak is enough put any of the raptors into the ground. Unfortunately the drone was losing power so it was ordered to return before the conclusion of the confrontation.
