An animated commission for *iPead , her character Mei. This was fun, and challenging, and a good learning experience, and now I have a workable process to get animated paintings going towards the scale that I've been hoping for.

I don't know much about animation, but I'd say it's pretty smooth~
Just that her left hand seem a bit too long in my eyes, but overall, it's all good! ^_^

not sure i understand the story in connection to the animation. Is this sorta what it's like having Insomnia for a long time or is they why she doesn't sleep?

There some backstory to the character I probably haven't quite conveyed. She's a living doll, and the premise of the animation is that she has her normal self, and the eerie broken version, and she's slipping in and out of one form to another in an endless cycle , sorta two warring states? The whole drifting in and out of sleep and tying that relationship to a living nightmare was a way to invest more movement into the scenario of blinking back and forth between th twoe states in a clean endless loop for the animation cycle, mm.

It hit me at some point that if I took a slow n' gradual approach to that scene transition- my frame count would sorta get outof hand, which would mean even more impossible to manage filefizes. x)
So its a brisk pace on an endless rollercoaster, heh.
