For name suggestions to go with the themes, I have a couple suggestions c:
Lighter : Drizzle, Mist, Shiver, Dew, Dewdrop, Oceana. And there are some actual names with meanings relative to it, too, like Brenna, "little drop of water." Talise, "beautiful waters." Kailani, "sea and sky." Amaya, "Night Rain."
Darker: Cloud, Thunder, Rumble, Quake, Loom, Storm, Cloudburst, Monsoon, Gale. And some names with relative meanings are Farren, "handsome servent, thunder." Adrian/Adrien, "The dark one." Corbin, "crow." (I dunno, when I think of dark, ominous weather I think of distant crows squaking).
Omg I don't know what made me give you so many suggestions ;; Sorry.
But if none of those stick, here's a list of a bunch of weather-y names!
