Description As requested by ~E037407 this is an interpretation of the battle that took place during the episode of DS9 "In the Pale Moonlight" which described the Romulans enter the war and launch an offensive on the Dominion. Here a squadron of Warbirds decloak and take a Dominion group by surprise, wiping them out.

Pfft, Romulan Warbirds have more firepower than any ship in Starfleet, if a tad less durability and speed.

Plus, first-strike advantage of a cloaking device would be devastating!

Watching "In The Pale Moonlight" as I type, and that's exactly how I imagined that scene playing out.

"At 0800 hours, station time, the Romulan Empire formally declared war against the Dominion. TheyΒ΄ve already strucked 15 bases along the cardassian border. Now this is a HUGE victory for the good guys!"

ThatΒ΄s how I would imagine it. Wonderful.^^

This is skill man, just skill. I see your work on Trekmeshes.ch, didn't know that you are here too. Awesome piece, and great interpretation. I can tell how dramatic it must have been to have the Romulans decloak and fire on those unlucky ships.

I should be updating this image with a few tweaks and features after some suggestions came in.

You're welcome. Looking forward to seeing more, and DA's the most comfortable place for me to look and comment, in comparison to Scifi-meshes and Trekmeshes.ch.

Impeccably done. Although the bottom ship, does seem to be a bit too sharp, or it may just be my eyes.

Either way.

Great job.

It does seem to go jagged edged in certain places, had this problem on Sacrifice of Angels too, I can only guess it's the model as it renders this way.
