Description
After a really busy week i take a break and did a new illustration of the main character of my project Nevermore.In this piece she is using a special bow that she use sometimes in the novel.
This time i use a concept background i did some months ago to see how works.
I like the finish result, maybe i need to experimet more with this technique.

photoshop brushes (industrial brushes), a couple of 3d render of zbrush, a c4d from cinema 4d, three hours and a lot of coffee ><.
the trick for the background looks like this, is the mode of the diferents layers, for example there is one in overlay mode,
other in glow mode, when you start to experiment you can get results even in shapes you dont see before,
Β for example in this one i was looking for a outdoor background and in the end (at least to me) looks like some kind of industrial ruins or a old fabric.
this drawing have three diferents versions and perspectives, i will use the others two soonly.

But did you add some kind of building plan or something because it looks realy detailed

ah! i understand but actually not, that is because over the render i put other two textures (aspalth and noise) after that i cut
part of the layers of the render and start to rotate, blur, erase some parts, painting with more brushes and looks more like a painting i put a watercolor filter, and to
finish i process the whole picture in a hr plugin in photoshop for contrast. zbrush did the most dificult part of this drawing because is just 3d
render with displacement, and the detailed parts of the drawing is zbrush, the rest of the background is paint over and play a little with the layers.
i has been used similar techniques in this drawings.

The lighting is good!!! Mai-chan looks so badass and cute!!! And her outfit! It looks like something that can be worn from the movie hunger games XD

i didnt pick any particular choose for theΒ outfit, was something i like XD
the bow have 3 diferent shapes, i use only two until now. dont evolve actually mai bow is a pure
Β fragment core, have some conscience, so the form depends of the threat, but she dont use this weapon to much,
because can be used only in special cases. her hair is start to getting white every time she uses it

is just a collateral effect of using the bow, in a few days she have her original color. but she has realized that every time she uses the bow her hair take
more time to get the original color, maybe because the white hair was the real color she original have, if she had been in the other world the correct
Β time probably be her hair would be white and she would not have to use a bow to channel her ability. She doesnt remember that but she
escape from the dimesion where the fey are created because Shin help her.

they feys dont remember the time they has spend in the other dimension,
shin is the only one who have memories because he is not from this universe in first place XD.
The first novel of nevermore is about Shin coming back from the other dimesion and he and the members of
nevermore need to fight a creature that has scaped from that dimesion but in another time.
When shin scape he was persecuted by other creature, and both scape, but the problem is they appear in diferents times:
Shin appear in the year 2228 and the creature in the 10000 bc.
so the creature has hibernated that time until detect shin again. The theme of the first novel is the relativity of time XD.

actually i have plans to shin tell the true in the future. probably he will be out of the team for a couple of cases when he reveal the
Β secret to mai. i can imagine perfectly mai pointed a gun to shin with tears and saying "why?". is part of the plot and i cant reveal to much.
also i dont have all the problems resolved of that arc.
