While the colored version of this pic is quite awesome, I like the black and white version a bit more. There's just something about no colors that manages to become basically another world, and as far as this pic is concerned, these two are the only inhabitants. It's simple, but no less pleasing, and detail in stuff like skin tones, wrinkled clothes and lighting still get across just fine. As for the butterfly, while having it be the only thing colored(in this version) could be seen as unnecessary, I'll think of it as an onlooker from the colored world, plus it's harmless and the color blue used is still enough to stick out but not by much. As for the two peopels... well they're just adorable, so loving and so intimate(just the way the guy holds the girl's hand is enough for me, but their faces being close like that, the small smile on the girls face is just.... aaaaaaaaah so cute), and combined with everything else, almost magical.

I think this is super pretty! I love the details like the particles and all the single leaves in the background and the choice to make it black and white (i looked at your pixiv but couldnt find a colored version i would have loved to see it though >w<) as well as letting the blue butterfly pop with color since it's a symbol :3 Her flowing hair adds to the dynamicness of the drawing and the light spots on their heads and shoulders make them blend in with the environment in a believable way too
As for improvement the only thing i notice is that their eyes seem to sit a little too low on their faces, especially the girls right eye (from our point of view) could be a little higher to match up with her other eye a little more Keep up the good work! By the way do you speak german? I'm from germany~

i didnt notice to much the detail in the eye. probably because this picture was done
without flip the drawing, that details pop up easy and i didnt detect .

This is a very good composition.
And the choice of going with (mostly) monochrome in this medium is an interesting choice, but none the less, very effective.
I did look at the full colour version, but I do prefer this monochrome version, in this instance.

That's really interesting! I have that concept in my story too(sharing dreams) but it can only happen because one person has that ability to let people shared dreams) but it my story it is only use to talk to each other think or share thoughts . Because in mine, when you are in the dream state or world, time seems to be different in the real world. Let's say if you send 5 days in the dream in real life your body was only asleep for 24 hours

actually i dont know if know this but the ability of sharing dreams or take control of your dreams is not all fantasy. itake part of real concepts of
dream to integrate them in the story. in the third novel they investigate a case related to the world of dreams when a guy is killing other people by entry in their dreams.
Mai gets trapped in her own mind along with this killer, the team need to investigate the real location of the killer, and in the mean time shin entry to mai mind to find her.
the thing get complicated when other two entities entry in the story, Lam, a creature created of the collective incoscience and the other is the shin own inconscience.
the world of the dreams of shin and mai get mixed creating posible one one of the better world i have created for my project (something similar to this www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKejRI… ).
because the butterfly has been referenced a lot of time in dreams and mai also is called moth or butterfly sometimes.
the morph butterfly (like the one i draw) have connections in some chamanic religions to dream states and also his name is related to the change (morph=change).

no, actually that is the myth you cant die in a dream, but in the future exist dream
hospitals to fix some sleep disorders. The dreams can be shared and also saved.
actually exist some studies about sharing dreams between 3 or more people. When im saying "control dreams" im talking about
the lucid dreams, when the dreamer realizes he is inside of a dream and take control for transform the dream.

if you stored dreams can study better what are the fears of the patients and how cure them. also for artists imagine you can store
dreams for inpiration. one of the best option of this in my novel is the second lifes the people have in dreams, whole lifes
and families, imagine if you can store a dream, you can continue that dream like a movie or a book.
actually in my novel a lot of diseases dont exist, coma yes exist, but you can talk with the patient in that state, the
comunicattion devices in the future are in the brain, so imagine is like telepathy.
