You’ll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends.”

YES! Unfortunately Cora would be Grandmistress of that House. She and Voldie could probably swap spells and mutually agree to kill the other when they've outlived their usefulness. (There's a crossover idea from hell.)

Henry (if he's got any of his mother or paternal grandpa's magic) is a classic Griffyndor - more bravery than good sense. His mom would likely land in the red and gold as well.

I'd actually peg Rumple as Ravenclaw. He doesn't use magic to climb the social ladder and gain power. He's not interested in that. He's more or less playing a grand game of Wizard's Chess - and everyone in the universe is a piece on the board. (Though he does his best to keep Bae and Belle out of play)

Actually, I imagine Emma as more of a Slytherin. She has a strong sense of self-perseveration, rather than rushing into dangerous situations she creates cunning, well-thought out plans. Many of her actions and decisions are driven by her own ambitions and desires, like staying in Storybrooke in the beginning to spend time with her son or when she was planning to go back to New York even though her son and everyone else wanted her to stay in Storybrooke until she realized she wanted to stay with her family. She also manipulates others to get what she wants like when she plays along with Henry’s beliefs even though she doesn’t believe him so she can spend time with him. Although it’s probably not considered a Slytherin trait she’s also very sarcastic. Truth is, I don’t think Emma would want to be Gryffindor, she’d probably find them far too reckless and heroic. One of the things I love most about Emma is that she isn’t like most heroes, she’s cynical, sarcastic, distrusting, has a strong sense of self-preservation and generally follows her own desires, only being willing to put these aside for her son Henry and later on her parents but also has a good heart and the capacity to be the hero. Being in Slytherin rather than Gryffindor would reflect this, everyone expects the hero to be a Gryffindor not a Slytherin, plus, Emma would be a little girl who wouldn’t be a hero yet, her Slytherin traits would probably be even stronger and any Gryffindor traits would be almost non-existent and she’s destined for greatness. I know this is a lot but I’ve thought a lot about this and I don’t think she should be shoved in Gryffindor just because she’s the hero or sometimes shows some bravery when she has to and I don’t think she fits in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff either.

I do think Emma’s parents Prince and Snow are classic Gryffindors though. I also think Henry’s actually a lot more like his Grandparents than his biological or adoptive mothers, which is why he’d be more likely to be a Gryffindor like his Grandparents than Slytherin. You also have some interesting points about Rumple too.

I just love potterheads who sort people who aren't in HP series.

Though I think Henry is a Hufflepuff material, and Belle should also be in Ravenclaw.

Cannot be disagree with you, really.
I think that Regina has one skill from all the houses (i posted something in my tumblr just yesterday) but If I have to chose in which house she'll be is Slytherin. I know, she was good once and in this second season we saw she can change and she has still good inside her but if we look back in the first season we se THE EVIL QUEEN. She killed her own father to cast the curse, she manipolated many people for her own purposes so.. for me she's slytherin but even a slytherin can be a good person.

NOT a Regina fan here, but season-ender did a lot to make me go from "she can die in a fire" to "OK, maybe she can live." There's a line from Knights of the Old Republic that fits beautifully. "I'm sorry that I started you down the dark path, but it was your choice to continue going down it."

Yes, Cora was a nasty piece of work. Yes, Leopold was a neglectful bore hung up on his first wife. However, it was CORA who killed Daniel right in front of her, but does Regina have the guts to place the blame where it belongs? Nope. She blames a lonely, nine-year-old kid for everything that goes wrong in her life. Was it really necessary to manipulate the genie into killing Leopold? To make the Huntsman into a sex slave? To burn a whole village to the ground and slaughter every man, woman, and child in it just because one resident might have sheltered Snow White for a night? To separate Hansel and Gretel from their dad and send them into the Witch's home? (and they were only the ones who survived. She sent more children who didn't).

Even after she casts the curse, she gets a new life, a new identity. All her enemies are broken. Snow White is a meek little punching bag that can't fight back and can be bullied with impunity. She rules over the town without question. She has her memories, power, magic, administrator access to the Matrix. No one can hurt her anymore. But how does she spend all those years? Bullying and stomping on people who can't remember what they did to piss her off. Worse, Kathrine calls her a friend, and in the very next episode, Regina has her kidnapped and imprisoned just to keep carrying out her stupid vendetta against Snow White. And she once again makes the genie pay for her crimes. Oh, and since she doesn't have the guts to confront Rumple directly, she'll go and use Belle for target practice, first imprisoning her in the psych ward and then pulling "Lacey" out of her bag of tricks. And all the while? No remorse. No sense she was sorry for any of it. She always had the opportunity to make a different choice. She knew the difference between right and wrong and just kept choosing wrong.

Part of me cheered on Owen up until he activated the self-destruct. (That's when he went too far) Regina had no damned right to do what she did, and the whole town nearly paid for it. Maybe having one of her crimes backfire on her gave her a change of heart. We'll see where it goes.
