'Raiders!' Undine called out when the thiefs arrived. Glashtyn screaming angrily, telling them to go away. The lead mares distracted them while the others tried to hide in the fog of the morning.
They were not that many this morning, only two of them, the male one on the back of the traitor. The huge stallion came like a bull, loud and strong, while his mare was silent as a doe. They circled the lead mares, they wanted to know where the others were, but Undine and Glashtyn wouldn't show them. The traitor leaped forward but Glashtyn kept him away. For now, they never gave up that early.
Suddenly there was a loud bang and the herd got scared, some even screamed surprised. Now the only thing they could do was to run. Run as fast as they could and hide in the lake. Untill the thiefs were gone or until they needed to breath...
