Description I made this for my best friend's mum's birthday. She likes birds so...I made a birdie. XD

I had a hard time with its feathers...I tried making it look as birdlike as possible..the splattered'ish brushes and textures helped lots. If you plan on buying a tablet, Wacom's intuos4 is amazing... I can't use Photoshop without it. It's so precise and great on detailing. :3

This is so adorable ^o^ ! Birds are so sweet :3 when your using a tablet, is it like drawing on paper? Because if I could "draw" on Photoshop it would make everything so much better, I can't draw with the mouse at all ;__;

Kind of... I'd say the intuos4 tablet feels more real (like paper, in a way) than the intuos3... I used to draw with the mouse by using the pen tool (took forever, but you get used to it)

x_O !! Oh wow its so expensive! But it seems really good than, the intuos4. :3 I remember a while back you first got a tablet, and it's easier and more natural feeling of drawing on the computer right? Oh and what size is your tablet? The medium looks good but I'm not sure xD Sorry for all the questions, I'm so curious and I want one really badly ^.^"

My first tablet was the intuos3, the size was like...uh... basically about the same size as the medium intuos4 (which is what I now have, you don't need the giant large one -my college has those...meh, way too big)

I bought mine from amazon (low shipping and no tax : D) It's $309 [link] ..sadly it is pricey, but you should really do your best to get a tablet like that one... if you love drawing, it'll never be wasted....the money would all be worth it.

The Amazon one is like 50$ cheaper yay ;D it looks really good, and I do luff to draw and want to get better with like, digital/drawing on the computer. I think it would be a really good investment. And plus it would give more drawing freedom on the compiee because drawing with a mouse is way to hard and tedious for me xD I'm gonna have to beg my parents for it though xD so like, thankyou for all your advice and stuff :3 ! And I didn't even think of going on places like Amazon or eBay where it would be cheaper. [x

If you consider getting it from ebay just make sure the seller has nearly perfect feedback (and see if they have sold that same tablet in the past and look for user feedback-comments on it) if your parents don't already have an account with ebay and haven't bought stuff before...they'll need to have a paypal account before bidding or buying on ebay...and paypal requires you to give them your bank account info : x So i'd personally go with buying from amazon (they only need a credit card)....since paypal is evil.

Perhaps your parents may get it for you as a early bday present or for christmas? Or if you have some money saved up (say like, $100) you can tell them you'll pay what you have for it (and they can pay the rest xD)

and you're welcome : D

I've used Paypal before, but I've heard that it really is evil xD but yeah I might be able to get it as a bday present or something : D or I'll just save up money if they can't but it, and guess I'll stick to Amazon because it seems safer. Yay I'm like all happy now lolz xD

I used to work with the mouse a lot too. If you're used to it, then as long as you can get the job done! :]

... I guess that makes me more of an animal lover with the mouse than a handyman with the tablet.

Gwah, i'm okat with cs4 with a mouse, but I don't have a tablet quite yet. Soon enough, T^T, i will have one, but for now i am satisfied with my skill with a mouse xDD

I'd say you did a pretty good job with this. It reminds me of the little birdies that come to my backyard to peck at the bread we put out for them. It's like they KNOW that's where their food will be, they just keep coming back. ._.
