Why someone would deface their body with mis-matching random permanent images, I will never understand.
If you are going to get a tat, get something good and don't just put angry, dark, negative symbols and images on your body.
You body is a beautiful canvas, put art that flows with it and you. Not dark incantations of a sad life.
And get them because YOU want them, not because you will look "cool" around the tat loving hipster crowd.
Also, PTEA is against the ownership of pets as well, so for that alone, I am opposed to them.
And "victoria van violence"? WTF kind of a name is that? What kind of dark, twisted stuff are you guys into?

Love your work. Love humans. Love animals. Love to eat (some) animals. Love to preserve the environment. Love to protect animals from cruelty. Love tatoos that fit my taste. Love bodies without tatoos just as much. Love fur clothing that fits my taste. Love people that don't wear fur just as much. Hate PETA and most associated organizations. Hate faceless industrial companies that process animals with no consideration for the ethical treatment of those animals. I love the photograph but think the message "INK NOT MINK" is ridiculous.

even though peta is kind of a joke now days i do think the photo is stunning the tattoos that i can see are all very wonderfully done i love the tatto on cardii's (i think) arm i love animal prints to start with so yea lol and the hair and makeup was wonderfully done my only complaint is a few of the girls look bored they have ths "are we done yet" expression on their face

It's stuff like this that makes PETA a joke. "Ink not Mink". Okay. What kind of statement is that supposed to be? That instead of wearing fur, we should objectify women for the sake of sensational advertising? Yeah. That seems like a good trade off.
For real, that's like all of their advertising anymore. Rather than reinforce their vision and values in a straightforward and professional fashion, they just toss risque photos at you and claim it's all in the name of the ethical treatment of animals.

Making sweeping generalisations about the way "they" look or that these "chicks" are bad role models based purely on their appearance? Shitty statement.
And I'm not knocking the guy for not liking this amount of tattoo coverage, just a shitty thing to write on someone's artwork. It serves no point but to aggravate (much like the reply). I believe this is known as "trolling". I think a "bigoted" statement would be something like "did the same fat bearded dude with dyed black hair do all these tattoos?". Oh wait, he did type that.
You have to click to view the image from a thumbnail, why bother getting a better look at something you don't like? I read the comment because I was viewing something I DO like. So not really a hypocrite.
And his opinions validity has nothing to do with the size of his DA gallery, but knocking someone and not putting your work up for criticism speaks volumes.

My main objective is to comment on the trend of shitty-tattoos to raise cultural awareness to the point where young people have the proper attitude toward it.

its not that i dont like tattoos
some tattoos are actually awesome and original
but in my opinion, wait, in my taste... there are very few that are actually worth having
and to have it(to me) is to make a statement
when something has become so acute, that it becomes a scene, and a lifestyle... then its not original, or artistic in the least
furthermore, some people think tattoos are cool
there was a time in the evolution of our society when having a tattoo kinda meant you were a rebel and a badass
but thats like 50 years ago
today it dont say shit other than the fact that you are corny
and to have that many tattoos... and nary a one of them being actually good... then i say flush these bitches down the fucking toilet and toss on a fur, baby
cuz at this point id trade a bunch of pelts to have these average looking bitches have their skin back... in a flash

They can look however they want, it's their skin and a particular type of style that they all happen to like. What does the fact they're women have to do with it anyway?
That's the point of the photograph 'Ink not Mink' so of course they'd choose heavily tattooed models otherwise it wouldn't make any sense.
