I swear I was just screwing around and this happened. I think it came out stupidly cool, so... lemme share it, hnnnnnnnn.There's something about creating the shape of a figure via shadows. It's strangely freeing, and I get depth and volume I never could drawing normally.
And here I thought I was gonna practice drawing rainforests tonight. Hello, Trinity plus Hal. 8) You're all my homeboys.

Out of curiosity, which one IS Clark & which one is Bruce...?

I figured it out by noticing which side of their heads the hair curl was on (Clark's is more defined and in the shape of an S, naturally) and which one looked darker than the other (Bruce's eyes were shaded in and whatnot).

Understandable. I found myself wondering as well when I first saw it. They do both have that generic look. Black hair, blue eyes, tall, handsome. The only difference being that one gets out in the sun (literally) once in a while.

Baw, you do not see much of then, still you recognize them. I though I would have problems with deciding whoยดs Bruce and whoยดs Clark, but.. it worked out good. Really :3

REALLY, now? Because I'll have you know that he's definitely one of my favorite characters ever, and is by far my favorite Lantern of all time. In a world of Hal-haters and prevailing neutrality toward the character, it is my pleasure to meet a fellow fan of the guy. <3

Easily, hands down, Hal Jordan is my all time favorite as well. I recently got the greatest opportunity of my RP-life by joining a community and getting to role-play as him for the first time. The other Lanterns give me a lil grief--get called Guacamole 'n such, but to be honest, given the opportunity to see him in the comics again that aren't, ah, dated is pretty flippin' cool. Not that I'm dissin' the age-old favorites, of course!
Lots of people have a tendency to suggest that we move past the old and in with the new, but Hal was created long before I was born, so I'm pretty stoked to get to know the character and glad DC isn't just punting him out of existence.
Anyhoo, I'm ramblin'; I'm glad there are others out there as well who can appreciate a fellow who isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box (no pun intended), but a delightful character.
And, yah, I've been a member of Furcadia since '98. That's also where I found the community to RP Hal in!~
