Some sketches for once - how refreshing! I'm sick of all the saturated colors blanketing my gallery. >:]Don't mind me. Just trying to isolate facial differences between the males and females of my spider anthro species. So far, I've decided that the jaws of males have a dramatic slant and push out farther than those of females, whose facial structures are notably flatter. Also, for some added customization and relatability, these creatures are capable of having different head hair types, from sparse arachnoid needles to wooly manes, though all hair types are coarse to the touch. Many members of the species are completely covered in hair, while others are merely covered in socketed bristles, or "setae".
PFFFFFT, I realized that I forgot the extra eyes. Guess I was tired! And yes, I'm still trying to come up with a species name.

Why not look up prehistoric spider species as a idea for a name?
Like Megarachne Servenei? The largrest spider ever? (it was proven to be some sort of sea scorpion specie instead.) XP

I need a hundred of these omg what precious babiessssss <333 I don't know if you're looking for input, so feel free to disregard if you're not - you could always add the palpal bulb to the end of the tarsus on the male's pedipalp. I know it's technically a sex organ but you could make it something else? I dunno, just a thought!

Awesome stuff. It might be cool if some of them could close several sets of eyes and they become "hidden" in folds of their chitin. This way, you could provide another layer of expression - all eyes popping open at once would be supreme surprise, while suspicion could be revealed by opening a second set of eyes (i.e. "I need to get a second look at this...."). Also, I'm digging the chins - it almost looks like they could split open down the middle of the chin - that might be a cool option for some of them as well.

All the woolly spiders! Now they have weave their hair and weave beads and stuff in it to give off some custom/fashionable looks!
Whoops with the missing pairs of eyes. Just give the excuse they can scrunch their brow to shift a plate of extra 'skin' over to protect the eyes and there for hide/rest them???
